York Seminary Villiage

York Seminary Village

The York Seminary Village was built in two phases.  The first phase, dedicated August 16, 2006, included four apartment buildings, consisting of one, two and three-bedroom housing units. Ranging from 530 to 1,280 square feet in size they can easily accommodate singles, roommates or families. Each unit is completely equipped with kitchen appliances and conveniences. The second phase, dedicated October 13, 2007, included three more apartment buildings with the added bonus of a community room and lounge in which seminarians can share common experiences and pursue their education. Seminary residents are just a short walk from the School of Theology and the heart of campus.

The building of this special housing was made possible through the generosity of Dr. James York and Elizabeth Harp York. Elizabeth, a former Anderson University student, has always had a special connection to the campus as her parents had been pastors in the Church of God Movement.
