Best known as the creator of Peanuts, Charles M. Schulz also contributed hundreds of original cartoons to Church of God publications during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. These appeared in Vital Christianity, Youth, and Reach, and included three recurring series: Two by Fours, Young Pillars, and What’s Buggin’ Ole Pharaoh? These early works reveal Schulz’s unique blend of humor and theological curiosity.

The archives holds a collection of Schulz's handdrawn cartoons, mostly on card stock and celluloid.
